Lagos Ports See Surge in Shipments of Fuel, Food, and Other Goods

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has confirmed that a total of 20 vessels are currently offloading various goods at Lagos’ major ports, including Apapa, Tincan, and Lekki. The shipments, arriving on Wednesday, include petroleum products, food items, and industrial cargo.

According to the NPA’s latest “Shipping Position” report, the cargos being discharged comprise frozen fish, petrol, general cargo, bulk sugar, buckwheat, bulk fertiliser, urea, gas, and gypsum.

In addition, two ships carrying bulk wheat and containerized goods are awaiting berthing at the ports, while another 20 vessels carrying similar products — including aviation fuel, diesel, base oil, petrol, bulk sugar, and urea — are expected to arrive between November 12 and November 14.
