Sunbeth Energies Limited has expanded its self-service fuelling operations to Rivers State with the opening of a new station in Port Harcourt.
The facility, located in Ada George, allows motorists to purchase fuel through bank card payments or transfers and dispense it themselves, while customer assistants remain available to provide support when necessary.
The company said on Wednesday that the launch builds on its existing self-service outlets in Lagos and Abuja, where customers can complete fuelling transactions without relying on attendants to operate the pumps.
According to Sunbeth Energies, its two existing stations recorded a 100 per cent transaction success rate, with no service downtime since September 2026. The performance was measured by the successful completion of payments and fuel dispensing without transaction-related issues.
At the new Port Harcourt outlet, instructions displayed at the pumps guide motorists through payment, fuel dispensing and transaction confirmation. Customer assistants are also available to answer questions and help users who encounter difficulties.
The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Bunmi Isijola, said the initiative was designed to give motorists greater control over their fuelling experience while retaining access to human assistance.
She explained that the model was not intended to replace workers but to improve customer convenience and create new opportunities for staff to support motorists.
Isijola added that the company would maintain its focus on making fuelling more convenient, transparent and reliable as it extends the service to more customers.
Sunbeth Energies operates in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector, with interests in the bulk trading, distribution and supply of refined petroleum products.
