Shell-backed impact investor, All On, has committed $250,000 to enee.io, a Nigerian clean energy technology firm, to support the expansion of its smart energy solutions and improve access to reliable power in underserved communities.
The announcement was made during a formal signing event, where both companies highlighted their shared goal of addressing Nigeria’s persistent energy challenges. The funding will help enee.io scale its operations, enabling more households and businesses to monitor their power use, cut down on waste, and maximise energy efficiency—especially in off-grid areas.
All On, known for backing off-grid renewable energy startups, said the investment aligns with its broader vision of supporting inclusive and sustainable energy access across the country. “We’re investing in practical solutions that empower communities often overlooked in the energy conversation,” said Oluseye Bassir, Investment Manager at All On.
enee.io’s Chief Executive Officer, David Smith, expressed optimism about the collaboration, noting that All On’s experience and commitment to clean energy will help the company grow faster. “This support gives us the push we need to expand across Nigeria and offer smarter alternatives to unstable grid power and expensive diesel,” he said.
enee.io is recognised for its advanced energy monitoring software, designed to help users better understand and manage how they consume power. With this new funding, the company plans to accelerate its mission to deliver smarter, more affordable energy solutions nationwide.
