Kojo Motors Launches CNG Conversion Hub in Owerri

Kojo Motors has opened a new centre in Owerri, Imo State, for converting petrol-powered vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

The initiative, praised by the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), aims to reduce fuel costs and emissions.

The NADDC also provided hands-on training for 60 technicians. CNG conversion offers up to 60% savings on fuel costs and a 90% reduction in carbon emissions.

Imo State is supporting the project with workshops and refilling stations to accelerate the shift toward greener energy solutions in Nigeria’s auto industry.
