PETROAN Commends NNPC For Running PH Refinery 180 days Non-stop
The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has praised the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) for successfully operating the revamped Port Harcourt refinery for 180 days without interruption.
The refinery, which had been inactive for over 20 years, was relaunched in November 2024 following a rehabilitation project funded by an Afreximbank loan and executed by Tecnimont Nigeria Limited.
PETROAN highlighted the seamless supply of petroleum products, including diesel, kerosene, and PMS, marking a significant achievement in stabilizing the market and eliminating fake products.
The association also recognized key figures, including President Bola Tinubu, Minister of State for Petroleum Heineken Lokpobiri, and NNPCL leadership, for their roles in the project’s success.
