NSCDC Seizes 70,000 Liters of Stolen Fuel in Rivers State

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has seized a container truck in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, carrying 70,000 liters of stolen petroleum products.

The fuel was hidden in an inbuilt storage tank. The operation, led by the NSCDC Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, followed intelligence reports on illegal oil theft activities in the region.

The NSCDC confirmed the seizure via a post on X, stating: “NSCDC commandant general special intelligence squad impounds long container truck with 70,000 stolen petroleum products stored inside inbuilt storage tank in Port Harcourt.”
