The Dangote Refinery has set the price of petrol at N865 per litre for marketers, according to an internal notice sent out Thursday morning. This fixed rate reflects the refinery’s current ex-gantry loading price, confirmed by a pro forma invoice and data from petroleumprice.ng.

This development comes as part of the Federal Government’s full implementation of the Naira-for-Crude policy, a long-term initiative aimed at supporting local refining and reducing reliance on foreign exchange.

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has acknowledged the pricing, assuring consumers of continued stability as local refining gains momentum.
