NARTO to NNPCL: Keep Refineries Running, We Rely on It

The Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) has urged the newly appointed management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) to sustain the operations of Nigeria’s refineries, stating that its business thrives on fuel haulage.

In a statement signed by its National President, Alhaji Yusuf Lawal Othman, the group applauded President Tinubu for appointing Engr. Bayo Ojulari as NNPCL’s GCEO, calling the new team a “round peg in a round hole.”

NARTO emphasized the need for innovation and resilience in the face of global oil and gas challenges and expressed confidence in Ojulari’s leadership to build on the achievements of his predecessor, Mele Kyari.

The association pledged continued support and urged the new NNPCL team to uphold their long-standing collaboration.
