Kuwait Expects Oil Output to Rise to 2.628 Million bpd in June

Kuwait’s oil minister says national production is projected to reach 2.628 million barrels per day in June, according to the state news agency.

The increase aligns with a recent decision by the OPEC+ group for seven member countries to lift output targets by 188,000 barrels per day for the third month in a row.

However, the higher targets are largely symbolic at present, as several Gulf producers continue to limit exports due to disruptions linked to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz during the conflict involving Iran.
