Nigeria Prepares for NOG Energy Week 2025

Nigeria’s oil and gas industry is entering a new era as major international oil companies move operations offshore, creating more space for local firms to take charge. This shift, combined with recent government reforms, has attracted over $8 billion in deepwater project investments within just one year.

All eyes are now on NOG Energy Week 2025, taking place from June 29 to July 3 in Abuja. The event, hosted by dmg Nigeria events, is expected to bring together more than 500 CEOs, policymakers, and global energy leaders. For over two decades, the conference has served as a platform for strategic discussions on shaping the future of Nigeria’s energy sector.

According to Wemimo Oyelana, Country Director at dmg Nigeria, this year’s event will focus on critical topics like unlocking international funding, positioning natural gas as a cleaner transition fuel, tackling production hurdles, and promoting industrial growth as a pathway to economic development.

With key players from across the industry set to attend, NOG Energy Week is poised to influence policy, drive innovation, and strengthen investor confidence cementing Nigeria’s place as a leading energy hub in Africa.
