QatarEnergy has kept domestic fuel prices unchanged for September 2026, meaning motorists and businesses in the country will continue to pay the same rates as the previous month.

Under the September price structure, Premium petrol will sell at QR2.00 per litre, while Super petrol is priced at QR2.10 per litre.

Diesel will remain at QR2.05 per litre.

The unchanged rates provide some stability for consumers as the new month begins, despite fluctuations in international energy markets.

QatarEnergy reviews fuel prices monthly, taking into account developments in global oil markets and other factors affecting the cost of petroleum products.

The September rates are:

• Premium petrol: QR2.00 per litre
• Super petrol: QR2.10 per litre
• Diesel: QR2.05 per litre

The decision to retain the existing prices means there will be no immediate increase in the cost of petrol or diesel for consumers in Qatar throughout September.

QatarEnergy’s monthly pricing announcements are closely watched by motorists and businesses because changes in fuel costs can affect transportation and operating expenses across the economy.

For September, however, consumers will continue with the same fuel prices that applied in August.
