28 Ships Scheduled to Dock at Lagos Ports With Fuel and Other Goods

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 28 vessels carrying petroleum products and various cargoes are expected to arrive at Lagos’ Apapa, Tin-Can Island, and Lekki Deep Sea Ports between February 10 and 19.

According to the NPA’s latest shipping report, 16 of these ships are container vessels transporting assorted goods, while the remaining 12 carry crude oil, petrol, diesel, bulk wheat, gypsum, blended stock, bulk gas, and other commodities.

The report also revealed that 10 vessels have already reached the ports and are waiting for berthing. These include ships loaded with crude oil, diesel, petrol, condensate, urea, containers, and other general cargo.
Meanwhile, 15 vessels are actively offloading their consignments. The items being discharged include bulk sugar, fertiliser, gypsum, diesel, crude oil, and general goods.

This influx of vessels comes as the nation’s ports continue to handle a growing volume of imported fuel and essential commodities, highlighting the ongoing importance of Lagos as a key hub for maritime trade.
