Chevron Appoints Oseguera as New Treasurer

Chevron Corporation has appointed Uriel “Ose” Oseguera as its new Treasurer, effective November 1, 2026.

Oseguera will succeed Navin Mahajan, who is retiring from the company after nearly 30 years of service. He will report to Chevron’s Chief Financial Officer, Eimear Bonner.

In his new role, Oseguera will oversee Chevron’s treasury operations, including capital markets, corporate finance, insurance, credit and risk management.

He currently serves as Chevron’s Vice President of Upstream Business Performance & Finance and has held several senior positions in finance, treasury and planning during his career.

Oseguera joined Chevron in 1990 and has worked in leadership roles across Venezuela, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and the United States. He previously served as General Manager of Chevron’s Financial Shared Services organisation.

Bonner said Oseguera’s experience in corporate finance, capital markets and international business would strengthen the company’s financial management and support its long-term value creation.

Mahajan became Chevron’s Treasurer in 2019 and has held various leadership positions in treasury, finance, compliance and business operations.

Chevron said Mahajan’s leadership and expertise contributed to the development of its finance organisation during his tenure.

Oseguera holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California.
