Nigerians can now subscribe for shares in Dangote Petroleum Refinery through participating Moniepoint agents, as the company expands access to its ongoing public offer.
The new channel allows prospective investors to complete their share subscriptions through agency banking outlets, making it possible for people who may have limited access to conventional investment platforms to participate.
The shares are priced at N525 each, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares, requiring an initial investment of N5,250.
According to Dangote Refinery, investors can make multiple subscriptions during the offer period if they want to increase their holdings.
The company said the agency banking option was introduced to make the public offer accessible to a wider section of the population by leveraging Moniepoint’s network of agents across the country.
Subscribers using the channel are expected to follow the approved process and keep their transaction receipts as proof of payment. Confirmation details will also be sent to their registered phone numbers through SMS.
The refinery advised prospective investors to review the offer prospectus for full details and use only approved subscription channels.
It also encouraged investors to seek advice from registered stockbrokers or financial advisers before committing funds to the offer.
The public offering is part of Dangote Refinery’s efforts to broaden ownership of the facility by giving Nigerians an opportunity to acquire shares in the major industrial project.
