Energia Limited has appointed Tai Adetokunbo Oshisanya as an Independent Non-Executive Director, strengthening its board with a seasoned finance and governance professional with more than four decades of experience across the energy, financial services, pension, and development sectors.

The appointment took effect in May 2026 and is aimed at enhancing the company’s corporate governance, strategic oversight, and long-term growth objectives. She has held senior leadership roles in Nigeria, France, South Africa, and the Netherlands, overseeing financial operations, business partnerships, risk management, and transformation initiatives.

Energia Chairman George Osahon said her extensive industry knowledge and governance expertise would contribute significantly to the company’s future growth and value creation efforts.

Oshisanya said she was honoured to join the board and expressed confidence in Energia’s commitment to operational excellence, local content development, and sustainable growth. She added that she looks forward to supporting the company in strengthening governance and delivering long-term value for stakeholders.

The indigenous oil and gas company said the appointment reflects its commitment to attracting experienced professionals to support its strategic goals and reinforce its governance framework.
