Ikeja Electric has informed customers that parts of Lagos will experience daily power outages for 25 days, beginning Monday, July 28 and ending Thursday, August 21, 2025.

The company shared the update on its social media platforms, explaining that the outages will occur each day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The scheduled blackout is due to maintenance work by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on the Omotosho–Ikeja West 330kV transmission line. As a result, affected areas will face irregular power supply and possible load shedding throughout the maintenance period.

Ikeja Electric advised residents to take necessary precautions and assured them that normal electricity supply will resume once the project is completed.
