Tripoli is set to welcome the Libya Energy and Economy Summit from January 24 to 26, 2026, as organizers finalize preparations for the high-profile event. The planning team, including Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, convened on Wednesday to review logistical arrangements, host delegations, and confirm the summit’s agenda.
The summit, organized by the Ministry of Oil and Gas, National Oil Corporation, and Renewable Energy Authority, and supported by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, aims to foster stronger collaboration between public and private sectors. It also seeks to highlight investment opportunities and drive growth in Libya’s energy industry.
The event is part of Libya’s ongoing strategy to revitalize its energy sector and strengthen the national economy after years of operational and political challenges. Officials hope the summit will provide a platform for dialogue, innovation, and partnerships that will shape the country’s energy landscape for years to come.
