NNPC Retail Limited has terminated the employment of a pump attendant and suspended a station manager after a reported attempt to cheat a customer at its Ikorodu, Lagos station.

The incident, captured in a viral video, prompted an internal investigation that confirmed the misconduct. Acting under its disciplinary guidelines, the company dismissed the attendant involved, suspended the station manager pending further review, and issued a formal warning to the dealer to strictly uphold operational rules.

Reaffirming its dedication to integrity, transparency, and accountability, NNPC Retail warned that such actions will not be tolerated. The firm urged customers to promptly report any cases of malpractice through official channels, assuring them of swift intervention.
