Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik on Saturday visited Jalalpur Pirwala in Multan district to review damage to a 36-inch gas pipeline affected by recent flooding.
He was accompanied by Petroleum Secretary Momin Agha, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Managing Director, the Multan Commissioner, and other senior officials.
The minister said that protecting citizens and ensuring uninterrupted energy supply remain top government priorities. He praised the quick response of authorities, noting that the damaged section was isolated in time, preventing casualties or property loss.
