Tanzania is taking steps to increase access to clean energy by participating in a high-level dialogue organized by the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris, France.
Energy Minister Deogratius Ndejembi joined discussions with global leaders focused on strategies to provide energy for all and speed up the adoption of clean cooking solutions. The talks are part of worldwide efforts to fight climate change and support sustainable energy for economic growth and social development.
The Tanzanian delegation included Ambassador Ali Jabir Mwadini, senior officials from the Ministry of Energy, and representatives from the Tanzanian Embassy in France. Their presence underscores the government’s commitment to international cooperation in the energy sector.
Officials said the dialogue is an important opportunity to share knowledge, explore innovative solutions, and advance Tanzania’s goal of clean, safe, and affordable energy for all citizens.
